Dr. Johnson completed his dental education and specialized orthodontic training at renowned institutions, equipping him with the knowledge and skill to address even the most complex orthodontic cases. His board certification reflects his dedication to maintaining the highest standards in orthodontics.
Education & Experience
Dr. Johnson earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology, magna cum laude from Valparaiso University.
He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors from Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Johnson went on to receive Orthodontic specialty training and a Master’s in Orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University. Here he acted as chief resident and was chosen for the prestigious Sandford Neuger Award for clinical excellence. His research emphasis was on sleep apnea in the pediatric population.
Prior to his orthodontic training, Dr. Johnson served as a captain in the US Army where he served as a general dentist.
Outside the office
Family is a big deal to Dr. Johnson inside and outside of the office. That’s right, when Dr. Johnson isn’t at the office, he goes by a different name, Dad. It’s the title he’s most proud of. He’s part of bath time, story time, bed time, and “I had a bad dream” time. You will hear many stories about his three daughters, Vivienne, Emilia and Maren.
When he’s not Dr. Johnson or Dad, he’s just Brad. And when he’s just Brad, his favorite thing to do is hang out with his wife, Tausha. He also loves to play the piano, golf, grill, and watch Cleveland sports. All this is to say, Dr. Brad Johnson is a great board certified orthodontist who prides himself on taking care of you and your family like his own.

ABO Board Certification is a voluntary credential that represents an orthodontist’s personal and public commitment to the standards of specialty practice and lifelong learning. The ABO Certification process requires the completion of peer-developed, externally validated written and clinical examinations.
